TRAVEL BURSARY

EULAR 2025 | TRAVEL BURSARY

Every year EULAR awards travel bursaries to presenting authors of abstracts selected as oral presentation, poster tour and poster view to the EULAR European Congress of Rheumatology to facilitate attendance to the event.

Bursary winners of abstracts selected for oral presentationposter tour and poster views will receive:

  • Complimentary registration to EULAR 2025 Congressincluding on-demand access until 31 December 2025.
  • Three nights hotel accommodation in the EULAR travel bursary hotel (single occupancy).
  • 350 euros for travel and living expenses (to be transferred to the bursary holder's bank account after the Congress).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Only presenting authors of a submitted abstract may apply for bursary awards.
  • Bursary Awards are strictly non-transferrable.
  • The applicant must be less than 40 years old. There is no age limit for HPR and PARE applicants.
  • The applicant must not have received financial funding from industry sources.

APPLICATION

The following documents are to be submitted through the EULAR Congress system. 

  • Motivation letter including the reason of application, and how their presence at the Congress would particularly benefit her/his professional activity or role.
  • CV including the applicant's name, affiliation, contact details, date of birth, citizenship, educational background, employment history, and current position (max. one A4 page).
  • Publication list with the most recent research project(s) of the applicant (max. one A4 page). Please note that  this does not apply to HPR or PARE applicants. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Applications Open: 1st October 2024

Application Deadline: 31st January 2025

Please apply for a travel bursary as soon as you have submitted your abstract – but note that this is a separate process and requires a separate application. Do not wait for the outcome of the abstract to apply as the travel bursary deadline will have passed.
