It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the EULAR 2027 Congress, taking place in Berlin from 9-12 June 2027. This year's Congress is particularly special as it coincides with the celebration of EULAR's 80th anniversary. Since our foundation in 1947, EULAR has been committed to advancing excellence in rheumatology through scientific innovation, education, collaboration, and advocacy. This anniversary offers an opportunity to reflect on eight decades of progress while looking ahead to the future we will continue to shape together.

The EULAR European Congress of Rheumatology brings together the full breadth of our community - from people living with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) and healthcare professionals to rheumatologists, researchers, and industry partners. More than a scientific meeting, the Congress is a unique forum where groundbreaking research meets clinical practice, ideas become collaborations, and innovation is translated into better care for people living with RMDs around the world.

Building on the success of our previous Congress in London, we are delighted to welcome you to Berlin for another inspiring programme. This year's Congress will showcase the latest advances in basic, translational, and clinical research while addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities in rheumatology. Through thought-provoking sessions, interactive learning, and meaningful discussions, we hope to inspire new perspectives, foster lasting partnerships, and support excellence in patient care.

Whether you are presenting your latest research, expanding your knowledge, reconnecting with colleagues, or attending for the first time, your contribution is what makes the EULAR Congress such a vibrant and impactful event. Together, we strengthen our shared commitment to improving the lives of people with RMDs and advancing the future of rheumatology.
