EULAR 2025 | HPR

The EULAR HPR (Health Professionals in Rheumatology) programme at  EULAR 2025, the European Congress of Rheumatology focus on high quality research, clinical practice and the development of HPRs to improve outcomes for people with RMDs and the quality of care they receive. 

The Congress is the pre-eminent platform for the committee of HPRs to actively liaise with HPRs across Europe, to support the development of roles and to encourage world-class clinical networking.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

We encourage the submission of abstracts to the HPR track, highlighting research and activities centered on patient perspectives and interests.

All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by a panel of official HPR representatives to the EULAR Scientific Committee. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to present their work as either an oral presentation or a poster session at the congress.

BURSARIES & AWARDS 

Upon abstract submission, all presenting authors may apply for a bursary. Every year EULAR awards a number of bursaries to the presenting author for abstracts accepted to the congress. You can apply for the bursary via the EULAR Congress Portal. EULAR grants awards for submitted abstracts by EULAR HPR members as first authors. 


HPR SESSIONS

Attend our scientific sessions and discover key topic areas such as Obesity in Rheumatic diseases, Menopause and its impact on RMDs, and Skin and wound issues in individuals with inflammatory arthritis among others. Delivering invaluable insights and fostering international collaboration between health professionals. 

HPR MENTORING

During the Congress, HPR community offer mentee - mentor sessions for interested participants to network and discuss research topics and career plans with internationally renowned rheumatology healthcare professionals.

DISCOVER HPR

The HPR Community work throughout the year with a network of national organisations of Health Professionals in Rheumatology across Europe, it serves as platform for collaboration and shared information among the different health professionals working with rheumatology. 

The Community's aim is to promote multidisciplinary collaboration in the treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases in Europe. To achieve this,  the committee organises a range of high-quality activities and programmes for its community.
