People with Arthritis and Rheumatism (PARE)
The PARE programme at the congress attracts a broad audience, including dedicated representatives of patient organisations who use their acquired knowledge to educate and influence a wide range of stakeholders about rheumatic musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs).
The congress is the pre-eminent venue for national patient organisations across Europe to share best practices and to gain cutting-edge knowledge about the treatment, care and quality of life for people with RMDs.
It provides a valuable opportunity for delegates to build productive working relationships with the health professionals and clinicians engaged in the delivery of the congress scientific programme.
We encourage the submission of abstracts to the PARE programme from national organisations and others, showcasing activities and original research bearing on the patient perspective and interest. The electronic abstract submission system was open until 31 January 2019. Abstracts received after the deadline were not be accepted.
The abstracts will be judged by a panel of the official representatives of PARE to the
EULAR Scientific Committee. Those who are successful will be invited to present their abstract perso- nally or in a poster session at the congress.
Each year an award is made for the best abstract submitted to the PARE programme.
EULAR awards a number of travel bursaries to those presenting abstracts in the PARE programme at the congress. It is very important that you apply for a travel bursary at the same time as submitting your abstract. Please note that this a separate process and requires a separate application!
