We are looking forward to welcoming delegates from around the world to the EULAR 2022 European Congress of Rheumatology, both virtually and onsite in Copenhagen.
EULAR will proceed with a Vaccination Required approach for all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff, meaning that attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff are to be be fully vaccinated in order to gain access to the EULAR 2022 congress venue onsite.
Non-fully-vaccinated delegates are encouraged to register for the EULAR 2022 virtual ticket.
For the purposes of right of entry to EULAR 2022 onsite, at this time, a person is considered fully vaccinated:
- 2 weeks after their second dose in two dose series, or
- 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine
This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorised for use and for emergency use by the European Medicines Agency, and COVID-19 vaccines authorised for emergency use by the World Health Organization, on or before May 4, 2022.

Additionally, EULAR strongly encourages all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff members to obtain vaccine booster doses in compliance with the latest European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
With due consideration for current public health guidance, legal guidelines, and industry practices, EULAR has developed Health and Safety requirements for EULAR 2022, including the Right of Entry policy specifically designed with consideration of relevant EU guidelines for the safe resumption of activities in the cultural and creative sectors - COVID-19. Our policies allow an attendee to voluntarily register for onsite attendance, subject to presenting a valid COVID certificate together with your identity card or passport to validate the fully vaccinated status, or alternatively to register for the EULAR 2022 virtual ticket.
In order to obtain a badge for EULAR 2022 onsite, each attendee, exhibitor, speaker, and staff member will be required to complete the following process:

Present proof of vaccination validation, along with government-issued ID, to a registration area for badge pickup. During badge pickup, each attendee, exhibitor, speaker, and staff member must confirm compliance with the Health and Safety requirements, including Right of Entry Policy.

In preparation to your trip to Copenhagen, please note that you may be required to get tested and potentially self-isolate upon your arrival in Denmark, please note that currently you can enter Denmark from COVID 19 risk and high-risk countries without test or isolation if you are vaccinated or previously infected.
