EULAR 2022 | congress Abstract PRESENTATION
In the permanent ambition to support the rheumatology community with the best available information and education, EULAR offers this year a hybrid congress experience. This will enable us to keep the spirit of the global rheumatology community alive and to address urgent questions with immediate relevance for patient care.
If an abstract is selected for oral presentation, the presenting author specified at submission is required to submit their abstract presentation in the session assigned by EULAR through the EULAR Congress system (Register / login access link above). Details have been communicated to the author.
If the abstract is selected for oral presentation, the authors, represented by the presenting author, will have to sign an agreement to grant EULAR the right to use the entire presentation (audio and slide) and subsequently use it for educational purposes (with or without a fee).

Agreement is managed electronically upon clicking 'yes' in order to proceed with the upload of your presentation through the system.
In the permanent ambition to support the rheumatology community with the best available information, EULAR is collecting the contributions from all presenters in the EULAR Congress in digitally recorded format. The purpose of the recording is to make these State-of-the-Art presentations available to a wider audience. With this, the latest progress in clinical, research and patient oriented rheumatology will also be available to those not able to follow the proceedings during the congress.
To be able to do this, EULAR is asking the presenters to grant a non-exclusive right to record and re-use the lecture content delivered by them during the Annual European Congress of Rheumatology 2022 by signing an agreement when uploading the presentation in the congress system.
Congress system instructions for content upload for Abstract presenting authors
As an overarching principle, the EULAR Congress will publish scientific results that have been submitted in January and have been evaluated and selected in a thorough, blinded review process. On this basis, this scientific content will be shown/published at the EULAR Congress, regardless of the authors' country of residence.
However, as a silent protest against the terrible war in Ukraine and a gesture of fairness towards Ukrainian researchers, EULAR has decided that presenters based in the Russian Federation or in Belarus will not be allowed to speak live at the on-site congress or at the virtual congress. However, they can upload pre-recorded content if they are registered for the congress as virtual participants. For all on-demand content or session / poster pages on the virtual platform (regardless of the presenters’ country of residence), the Q&A (comment) function will be removed.
